​WELCOME TO OUR FARM!!

The Lanty Cattle Company is located on ninety-five lush acres in beautiful remote northern Conway County, Arkansas near the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest.  From our farm we are blessed to enjoy both stunning sunrises and gorgeous sunsets across the open pastures.  It is in this setting that you will find our herd of cows peacefully grazing.  

While we understand that cows are ultimately a food-source, we strive to make certain our cattle are cared for in the most gentle ways.  They free graze in meadows of clover, Bermuda, and Bahia grass with access to ponds and free flowing streams.  They have access to loose minerals in their feeders at all times.  In the winter, they are fed hay that we harvested from our land during the summer months.  The herd always has access to shelter in the barns when the weather turns harsh from spring storms, to summer heat, to the snow and bitter temps of winter.

Most of our momma cows even have names - lol - like Miss Joy, Cathey, Red, Elsie, Dolly, Dolly's Baby, Miss Katie, Speckles and Michonne. 

We work our cattle each year giving them preventative vaccinations and wormers ensuring they are in good health and striving to keep them that way.  Aside from this we have found that it is unnecessary to use antibiotics or additional medications - using them only on rare occasion when absolutely necessary. 

Our cattle are grass fed, using grain only when bringing them into the barn to wean calves or work the cattle.
